Swapping Skincare Products:

When the seasons change and the weather starts shifting from summer warm to breezy cold, your skin feels the change and actually gets affected by it. That is why switching some products in your skincare routine can help regulate your skin and helps it adapt back. That's Great right?  But how exactly and which products do you need to pay attention to?

In this Blog we will breakdown the products that need to be swapped or switched to depending on their ingredients.

Swapping Skincare Products Step By Step

1- Switching Your Moisturizer

If you happen to be using a lightweight moisturizer swap it with a creamy or balm based moisturizer.

That way you can maintain your skins hydration for a longer time and help your skin fight the dryness that can occur from the cold.

2- Foaming Cleansers

If you are using foamy cleansers, using them during winter can leave your skin flaky because tit stripped your skin from the essential oils. Instead, you can choose between creamy, milky and even oil cleansers.

3- Adjust Your Exfoliation Routine

Reduce exfoliating to once a week to avoid irritation.

4-Hydration Layering

Layer hydration to keep your skin moisturized. The best way is to start with a hydrating toner after cleansing, then adding a hydrating serum after the toner and then the last layer would be a moisturizer or cream applied after the serum.

5- Sunscreen

Even though summer is over and the sun is now hidden between the clouds, sunscreen is still very important because the U.V rays can still affect your skin.

6- Add overnight treatments

Use overnight hydrating mask to boost your skins nourishment.

With these easy and simple changes in the skincare products you use, you will keep your skin glowing, healthy and maintain its hydration.
